Juggling multiple social media accounts is a time drain. Logging into Facebook, then Instagram, then Google Business, creating separate posts for each, and trying to stay consistent is a full-time job. Vantage CRM's built-in Social Media Planner lets you manage all your accounts, create content, and schedule posts from a single dashboard.
Quick Overview
The Social Media Planner is found under Marketing → Social Planner in your Vantage CRM dashboard. Connect your Facebook, Instagram, Google Business Profile, LinkedIn, and Twitter accounts, then create, schedule, and publish posts across all platforms from one place.
Why Use the Social Media Planner?
Instead of paying for separate tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Later, Vantage CRM includes a full social media scheduler built right in:
- One Dashboard for Everything: Your CRM, email, SMS, calls, reviews, AND social media all in one place
- Save $50-200/Month: Eliminate standalone social media scheduling tools and their monthly fees
- Batch Content Creation: Spend one hour per week creating and scheduling all your posts
- Stay Consistent: Scheduling ensures you never miss a day. Consistency is the #1 factor for growth
- Multi-Platform Posting: Write once, publish to Facebook, Instagram, Google, LinkedIn, and Twitter simultaneously

Connecting Your Social Media Accounts
Vantage CRM supports the following platforms:
| Platform | Content Types | Connection |
|---|---|---|
| Facebook Page | Posts, images, videos, links | Facebook Login |
| Instagram Business | Feed posts, images, carousels | Via Facebook |
| Google Business Profile | Posts, offers, updates, events | Google Login |
| Posts, articles, images | LinkedIn Login | |
| Twitter / X | Tweets, images | Twitter Login |
| TikTok | Videos | TikTok Login |
To connect an account, click "Connect Account" or the + button, select the platform, log in, and authorize Vantage CRM to post on your behalf. If you manage multiple pages, select the specific one to connect.
Pro Tip
Connect all your accounts at once during initial setup. This saves time and ensures you can post to all platforms from day one.
Creating a Social Media Post
Click "Create Post"
Opens the post composer where you'll write content and configure publishing options.
Select Your Accounts
Choose which platforms to post to. Select one, some, or all of your connected accounts.
Write Your Content
Type your post text. You can customize the message per platform if needed (shorter for Twitter, hashtags for Instagram, professional for LinkedIn). Add emojis, mentions, and links.
Add Media
Upload images or videos (JPG, PNG, GIF, MP4). Posts with visuals get 2.3x more engagement than text-only posts.
Preview & Publish
Preview how your post looks on each platform. Click "Post Now" to publish immediately or "Schedule" to set a future date and time.
Scheduling Posts in Advance
Instead of posting in real-time every day, batch-create a week or month of content in one sitting:
Create your post
Write content, add media, and select accounts as described above.
Click "Schedule" instead of "Post Now"
This opens the date and time picker.
Pick the date and time
The planner uses your account's timezone. The post will auto-publish at the scheduled time. You can edit or delete it anytime before it goes live.
Best Posting Times
For most businesses, Tuesday-Thursday between 10am-2pm local time performs best. Evenings (6-8pm) also work well for B2C. Check your own analytics to find when YOUR audience is most active.
The Content Calendar
The content calendar gives you a bird's-eye view of all your social media activity:
- Monthly View: See all scheduled posts on a calendar. Quickly spot gaps in your posting schedule
- Weekly View: Zoom in to see each day's posts with full details and previews
- List View: See all posts in a sortable list, filter by platform, status, or date
- Drag & Drop: Reschedule posts by dragging them to a different date
- Color Coding: Posts are color-coded by platform for a quick visual overview
Analytics & Performance
Track how your posts perform directly within Vantage CRM:
| Metric | What It Measures | Why It Matters |
|---|---|---|
| Impressions | Times your post was displayed | Measures reach and visibility |
| Engagement | Likes, comments, shares, clicks | Shows how well content resonates |
| Click-Through Rate | % of viewers who clicked your link | Measures CTA effectiveness |
| Follower Growth | New followers over time | Tracks audience growth |
| Top Posts | Best performing content | Create more of what works |
Social Media Planner Best Practices
- Batch content weekly: Set aside 1-2 hours every Monday to create and schedule the entire week's content
- Post 3-5 times per week: Consistency beats frequency. Quality over quantity
- Use the 80/20 rule: 80% value-driven content (tips, education) and 20% promotional (offers, CTAs)
- Always include visuals: Images get 2.3x more engagement. Use photos, graphics, or short videos
- Don't forget Google Business: Posts show up in search results and Google Maps, driving local visibility
- Review analytics monthly: Check what performed best and adjust your strategy accordingly
Common Mistake
Don't just schedule and forget. Social media is a two-way conversation. Check in daily to respond to comments and messages. Scheduling handles the posting, but engagement still requires your attention.
